#2 New iPhone creates a new hotspot password. New PC had connected earlier with an old iPhone and old password. Changing the new password back to the old password worked. But I did want a new password, so: Used Manage Wireless Networks and deleted iPhone, then I was able to connect using WiFi and enter the new password.

IPhone personal hotspot takes a long time to be discovered, pls why is this so? like for example, if am using it and network becomes slow, briefly put it in airplane mode to refresh the network, when iphone gets connected, the devices previously connected to the iphone hotspot wont see it, even trying to connect a new device, same issue. until i on and off hotspot several times on my iphone

Sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes before the iPhone finally shows up, even when the iPhone is physically right next to the computer. - Click Profiles and delete any old connection profiles to the troublesome wifi device (e.g. iPhone). - Add a new profile and move it to the top of the list using the arrows. Here are the settings for an iPhone Personal Hotspot connection: - The profile name and SSID should match what appears on the iPhone's personal hotspot screen. There's no reason why it shouldn't connect, I can connect to a VPN on my laptop via EE 4G. I've seen similar issues in the past that were caused by the VPN provider using an outdated version of Open VPN that wasn't compatible with IPv6 networks.
