Moreover, the client offers only a limited number of protocols such as OpenVPN, UDP etc. and it also doesn’t support the PPTP protocol which is mentioned on the SlickVPN official website. SlickVPN offers 3 protocols: OpenVPN; PPTP; and IPsec. Only the OpenVPN protocol they offer uses 256-bit encryption, the others use 128-bit. In other words, you would want to use the OpenVPN option whenever possible. In their Windows client, there is no other option, so there is nothing to choose. SlickVPN Compatibility. To connect to the service just click the Connect button in the middle of the client window. The company has also made it easy for users to find all the options that its client offers.
