The reason Sky News HD isnt Freeview is Sky want the entire country to cough up the dough to have a dustbin lid bolted to their home and subscribe for ever and a day to their HD tv service. As long as Sky think one more person will do this if Sky News isn't in HD and free somewhere then it will never appear in Freeview.
